We’ve been working with ng homes on an important project to install two small devices into each of their homes. The aim of the project is simple: To make sure every tenant has a warm, healthy and comfortable home.

ng homes have installed two small devices into your living room and bedroom to help them understand how well your home is performing. It allows us to spot any signs of issues such as damp, mould or poor ventilation before they become a problem.

The device only checks three important pieces of data:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- CO2This helps to identify potential issues like improving air quality when CO2 increases, or if heating systems are efficient which could reduce energy bills or improving ventilation to reduce the risk of damp and mould.

The information is used to proactively ensure your home is as healthy and comfortable as possible.
If the information highlights a potential issue, we’ll alert NG Homes and they will be able to come out and fix it as efficiently and with as little disruption as possible.

Identifying potential issues as early as possible will help to create the healthiest environment possible for you.
By ensuring properties are thermally efficient and heating systems are working correctly, tenants can not only be assured their living in a healthy, warmer property, but there may also be financial benefits with reduced energy bills.
